If everybody in the rich countries donate 25% of their own money (including money in the bank) for example if you got $1000, donate $250, $1000000 donate $250000. Then the world will be a better place.

But I don't even see people donate even 5% of their money....

What if the rich country shared or contributed one of their best economics planners in their own country to work in the poor country. Since he is the "best economics planner" he would have an idea how to bride the gap.

Lets see, its not hard to bridge this gap. I agree with what C-L-S said but 25% is a large number and it will be impossible. Although the rich country has a high gross national profit, they still have to meet their citizen's demand of living. Therefore I think, 5% will be highest amount that the rich country will supply.

I can't figure anything yet but I will post something that come into my minds.

hmm in order to bridge the gap between the poor and rich quickly
i guess the poor countries might have to depend on other countries to donate them some money
or maybe if the world bank is generous enough, they might loan them some money ... but that seems impossible lol *b-alert*

as what k-mist has stated above, he's right, the ideal amount at the moment could be 5%
lol bual alert.. hmm ah, yeah, why not some of the largest manufacturers in the world set up some factories
in the poor countries to improve their economy? and 'hopefully' that way, the poor countries can generate or pile up some bucks.. lolz, but then again most of the money i think will go to the manufacturers' headquarters

buleh plg tu.. i mean, i mean, technology can be considered as a useful tool as a measure to bride the gap between poor countries and rich countries lol, but the probLem is do they have the money to pay for the... uhh.. 'technology'? haha, only if a generous country would help them, hum.. o_o

I posted smething yesterday, but out of sudden, it dissappeared. Sigh..

I did my research few days ago about poverty, and I found that, rich countries do make some contributions, like money and so on, but what happen is, the money usually is not being utilized to improve the social welfare and for people's need. Why? CORRUPTION. So, this also widen the gaps btween the rich and poor countries.

If its those people in power which is corrupting. what do you expect to be done? Kill them? start a revolution? I dont think so...
