why not we just empty or i can say zero the signal of the line in school,like in hospital.With this,we can stop the student from bring their handphone to school?

To reflect mobile phone signals,the school would have to rebuild its entire facilities, new walls, new buildings and everything must be in ONE building, like the hospital. If not students can still stand in between thebuildings and still get signals.
To do all that will dig a HUGE hole in government's pocket.

yeah, I agree with reef,
From my view, handphone should be banned in some school but not sixth form students who are already mature.
Its hard for us to banned handphone for the preU because:-
1) the form six block are high and far from the telephone center(SM admin)
2) the time of the afternoon class always varied with the mood of the teacher.
3) We don't know if the teacher wants us to do extra research esp for the humanity students which usually takes more than an hour
4) *unreleavant reason* We need to always be prepared to call the ambulance.

hmm yeah who cares about the schooL ruLes? even the mpp themselves bring their own handphones to the schooL and in addition, it really does come in handy almost all the time .. try imagining if a student hurt himself badly and at that moment is suffering from severe injuries like external bleeding, twisted head (?), twisted private part, internal bleeding , LOL.. hopefully our school is safe

I just had my debate last week about banning mobile phones in school and I can argue a LOT here but neh.. I prefer bringing phones to school and it can be my broadband when i bring my laptop.
And every single office in the administation block got a phone, and if you want a nice teacher, just borrow the phone in SM office. Even library got phone if all the teachers are having a meeting.

Absolutely.
I hope, the school authority reconsider this issue, like redo another questionnaire for students and parents. From what I know, previous questionnaire was only for parents.. Hey, who are studying and coming to school? Students or parents?
